So the latest stats from ADTECH (not to be confused with Ad:Tech) are in. Makes for pretty dismal, albeit predictable reading.
Here’s how it looks:

Mobile ad banners generate a much higher click through rate. No doubt this is due to the minuscule amount of inventory and pages on mobile, like looking at the internet 10 years ago.

ADTECH also found that the size of the ad also affects the CTR. Bigger is better!
Video Ads perform the best, with an average CTR of 1.7%

With the Open IMUâ„¢ display format generating CTRs in excess of 5%……we are onto a good thing!
